The Saudi Technology and Security Comprehensive Control Co. Ltd. “ Tahakom” signed a memorandum of cooperation (MOC) with “Aramco” to benefit from Tahakom’s capabilities in AI-enabled public safety and smart mobility systems.
The agreement was signed under the patronage of HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and in the presence of HE Eng. Amin Hussein Al-Nasser, President and CEO of Aramco and HE Mr. Malcolm Smith, president of ASIS International.
The MOC was signed by HE Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Salem, Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships in “Tahakom” and HE Abdullah bin Saad Al Rajhi, general secretary of the Eastern Province Traffic Safety Council, director of Aramco Traffic Safety Program.
Under the agreement, which includes cooperation between “Tahakom” and “Aramco” in AI-enabled public safety and smart mobility systems, the two parties intend to explore public safety solutions such as crowd management, video surveillance, fire control, life safety management, and abnormal situations detection solutions.
The agreement is part of Tahkom's keenness to integrate with national companies in a bid to strengthen the partnership between government and private sectors and contribute to the sustainability of the national economy.
