The Saudi Technology and Security Comprehensive Control Company (Tahakom) signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) to establish the largest entity specialized in supercomputer services and solutions with high processing capabilities that meet the needs of the Middle East markets and serve public and private clients, including the educational and research institutions and startups.
This new cooperation agreement builds on the ambitious
National Strategy for Data & AI and testifies to the
commitment of Tahakom and SCAI to supporting the efforts to
place KSA among the world’s top five countries in the field
of artificial intelligence. The Agreement also establishes a
framework to integrate both parties' capabilities to offer
services that would enhance and develop innovative AI
business models.
The signatories to the agreement were represented by Tahakom
CEO HE Engr. Nabil bin Ibrahim Al-Omar and SCAI CEO, HE
Engr. Ayman bin Mohammed Al-Rashid, in the presence and
under patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdullah Bin Sharaf Alghamdi,
President of Saudi Data & AI Authority, and HE Engr.
Abdulaziz Ibrahim Alnowaiser, CEO of Tahakom Investments Co.
