In a bid to Develop Smart Cities,

Tahakom and NNTC sign a cooperation agreement in the fields of drones, VR and AR

On the sidelines of its participation in ‘GITEX 2022’, that is being held throughout October 10 – 14, Tahakom signed a cooperation agreement with NNTC, in a bid to develop AI-enabled platform to control unmanned aerial vehicles (Drones), to be used for traffic safety, as well as applying virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies to upgrade the operational efficiency.


According to the cooperation agreement, signed this morning (Tuesday, 11 October), the two parties will provide several mutual services; create a comprehensive set of smart city solutions, and take advantage of capabilities of the drones’ platform to broadcast live video in cases of rapid response related to public safety and smart mobility.


The agreement was signed by Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Salem, Vice President of Business and Partnerships Sector in Tahakom and Mr. Dmitry Doshchanyy NNTC’S General Manager.


The signing of this agreement comes within the framework of Tahakom’s endeavor to build regional and global partnerships that support its technical path in the field of Artificial Intelligence and to develop its uses in everything that enhances its solutions and systems in the fields of public safety and smart mobility.
